Week 4

A cross section of the floor tile. From the 7/8" diagonal wood subfloor, 7/8" wood slats, 1 layer vintage cream & gold fleck linoleum, 1 layer vintage "faux" brick linoleum, 1 layer retro gold, orange & green patterned linoleum and the top layer is checked white and purple thick linoleum. Goodbye layers, hello Italian tile.

Say Hello to my little Friend....
The Bosch Hammer Drill.
Joe worked diligently on drilling through the concrete subfloor in the upstairs bathroom. All of the plumbing has been updated to the upstairs bath and through most of the kitchen. The last run is from the basement to the kitchen sink.

The plaster has been removed from the mystery stack in the corner of the kitchen. Looks to be the exhaust stack to a wood burning stove, maybe. Some more restoration work needs to be done to make the stack presentable for the new kitchen.

Major Injury #2, by Joe on Saturday 05-13-06. Molten solder from working on the overhead plumbing lines dripped off and onto his arm, cinging arm hair and 3 layers of skin.

Current kitchen conditions.

Happy Birthday Shrimpy, Cocktail, Diesel!
