Week 1
Joe is working on his electrician skills as well as plumbing mastery.
Amy was a great help in the demo phase of the kitchen.
This is the wall that will eventually be completely opened up, that is after the plumbing is rerun, the knob and tube electric abondoned and new electric run from the breaker box.
There was about 1.2 tons of rubble from the lathe and plaster demo. The trash man picked it all up and probably dreads the rest of the remodel.
Shrimpy and Cocktail check out the progress.We exposed a brick chimney stack in the corner. There is potential to gain 8" of additional counter space and leave some exposed brick for some architectural interest.

Wow- so I guess we're not getting invited over for dinner anytime soon! Better get some grill fixin's together. Where is your fridge? Keep up the good work.
